The Ramen Noodle Salad

*This recipe is usually doubled. If so, use only three packages of Ramen noodles.

  • 2 packages of chicken flavor ramen noodles, crushed
  • 1 lb. bag of broccoli coleslaw
  • 1 cup toasted and sliced almonds
  • 1 cup roasted, unsalted sunflower seeds 
  • 1 bunch of green onions, chopped.

Dressing:

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup oil (lite olive oil or your oil of your choice)
  • 1/3 cup rice vinegar
  •  2 chicken flavor ramen seasoning packets

Place all of the salad fixings in a mixing bowl. Whisk the dressing ingredients together. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to combine. Let salad rest in the refrigerator for a couple hours before serving.
